Bravo Fleet Operations Departments
Bravo Fleet is first and foremost a writing organization and as such there are several other services which the fleet provides. These services vary, and not all are specifically writing based. They help to promote community, fun, award competition and accomplishment, learning and even Treknobabble. Here is a list of the current services offered by Bravo Fleet:
- The Bravo Fleet Academy is a service which allows members of the fleet to learn and expand their knowledge. The areas which the Academy covers is leadership, Star Trek knowledge, writing skills and even some basic html and SMS installation. Currently the Academy is undergoing a major overhaul and will be relaunched officially in the near future as a whole new system from before.
- The wiki and knowledge base of our writing group. The Bravo Fleet wiki contains thousands of articles on a varying array of topics such as characters, planets, places, starbases, ship specifications, staff character biographies, technology and our codified rules. All Bravo Fleet members are encouraged to participate, improve upon, and add to our wiki.
- The Hall of Honor is the section of our fleet which show cases our ability to award our members when they deserve it the most. A lot of people dedicate a lot of time and hard work to our organization. It does not go unnoticed. There are many awards at many levels which show case the appreciation of both fellow members, and fleet leadership, towards all members.
- One of our main hubs of communication, Relay Station Bravo is the official Bravo Fleet forums. All major announcements will be posted here, and we welcome all, members and non-members, to register and join in on the chatter.
- While there is no official R&D department within Bravo Fleet anymore, there is a tentative Specs Review team which show cases our fleet's overall ability to improve itself. Over the years the Specs Review has slowly improved upon our fleet's in character ship specifications.
