Summary
Kaela Orin is a veteran intelligence operative formerly aligned with the Obsidian Order. Known for her methodical approach and unwavering loyalty to Cardassian interests, she operated for decades in various covert roles before the Order’s official dissolution.
In 2401, she emerged as a key figure during the USS Vallejo’s investigation into the distress signal of the Tecumseh (see: Shades of Obsidian), where her presence complicated Federation efforts and raised renewed concerns about latent Obsidian Order activity in the Thomar Expanse.
Disgusted with the weakness displayed by the current Cardassian government and civilian agencies, she has struck out, creating the Ebon Order. Utilizing previous Obsidian Order assets and alliances, she serves as a destabilizing force in the region, sowing distrust and chaos among the major powers surrounding the Thomar Expanse.
Appearance
Disguised as a human for decades, Kaela is a tall, striking woman. Often seen with a cruel smirk on her face, she has deep eyes, and characteristic Cardassian jet-black hair.
