Summary
Dan started his career in the civilian sector of Star Fleet. As a security gaurd on a transport ship. Pretty much gaurding freight and people. Whatever was being shipped across the cosmos.
The work was predictable and easy until the ship failed and Dan found himself on the Merced.
Life no longer predictable, Dan faces challenges he never thought he would.

Stalwart defender of his friends and crew. Always good for a joke. But dead serious about protecting those in his care.
Dan can normally be found in the crew lounge joking and laughing with the crew.
History
New to the fleet Dan joined from the private sector where he worked in security on a transport ship.
Now aboard the Merced where he intends to continue his duties as now Chief Security Officer.
