History
Early Life (2326-2346)
T’Lenar was born on Vulcan in 2376, she was raised in a very traditional manner with a deep Surakian philosophy. Her childhood was focussed on the pursuit of knowledge and discipline. From an early age she showed a devotion to understanding theoretical physics and earned an admission into the Vulcan Science Academy.
Vulcan Science Academy (2346-2350)
During her time at the Vulcan Science Academy she focussed her time on theoretical physics and astrophysics. She was inspired by one of her lecturers while studying. He was a retired Starfleet Officer, who had served a lifetime and pushed the boundaries of the unknown. This inspiration led her to leaving the Vulcan Science Academy and commissioned in Starfleet.
Starfleet Academy – (2350-2354)
Having remained on her homeworld surrounded by her own people for the majority of her life, the Academy came as a shock. The unbalanced discipline and diversity of the cadets was something she was not prepared for. However, it wasn’t something that put her off and she worked through these initial difficulties. She studied under both the command and science divisions, finally settling on becoming a science officer.
USS Melbourne – Science Division (2354-2359)
Her first posting following the Academy was to the USS Melbourne in 2354 as a junior science officer. She quickly distinguished herself, her training prior to joining Starfleet being apparent. Following promotion to Lt. (jg), her leadership abilities also shone, making her a prime candidate to lead teams as she developed within her field.
USS T’Kara – Science Division (2359-2367)
Upon promotion to full Lieutenant, she was reassigned to the USS T’Kara as the Chief Science Officer. This was a significant step forward in her career and a welcome one. During her time within this position she specialised in deep space reconnaissance, through the border conflict with the Cardassian Union changed the focus of the vessel. However, while the vessels focus had shifted away from the sciences, her and her teams analysis directly assisted in detecting Cardassian ambushes ahead of time.
USS T’Kara – Executive Officer (2367-2400)
T’Lenar, took on the position of XO temporarily on board the USS T’Kara. While during her first mission in this position the vessel was lost on the Cardassian border. Many of the crew were recovered afterwards, though, not until decades had past (in 2400).
Starfleet Medical/Starfleet Academy – Patient (2400-2401)
Following the recovery of many of the crewmembers of the USS T’Kara, many of the crew we’re offered continued service within Starfleet, including T’Lenar.
Following a period of rehabilitation and retraining in modern Starfleet operations, T’Lenar was given the opportunity to go with her previous CO to the USS San Clemente, a California Class Vessel 2402.
USS San Clemente – Executive Officer (2402-Present)
Lt Cdr. T’Lenar took the position of XO during a a period of refit and recommissioning the USS San Clemente, she was relaunched from Deep Space 17 midway through 2402.
