Summary
Carolyn Crawford is following in the footsteps of her father, Peter. She is determined to continue his tradition of finding his story in Starfleet and as far away from the Crawford family back on Earth at the family ranch. She dreams of the galaxy and the very borders of what’s possible…and pushing it to the very limit. Her energy and passion for discovery redlines the meter.
Appearance
Carolyn is 5’5. She may look young, but her knowledge and understanding of the world classify her as an “old soul”. She has many different ways to wear her hair both off duty and on duty. She is usually always smiling or a smile starting at the corner of her mouth.
Personality
Carolyn is her father’s daughter and is as far from her mother as possible. She’s a tomboy that hates dresses and is often underneath a console, in a Jefferies Tube, or working on something to keep her hands and mind in motion. A constant hunger for knowledge drives her to seek out information, manuals, research, and just about everything she can get her two hands and eyes on. She is optimistic to a fault and refuses to give up when even all of the chips are down. Her father is a pessimist whereas she is a never-ending optimist.
History
Early Life (2380-2396)
Carolyn was born on May 1st, 2380 to Peter Crawford in Roundup, MT. She does not know her mother and Peter has steadfastly refused to identify her. She grew up on the Crawford family farm with visits frequently from her father. At 16, she graduated from online classes and immediately applied to Starfleet to follow in her father’s footsteps. He encouraged her and made her understand the risks ahead.
Starfleet Academy (2396-2400)
Carolyn was a social butterfly in the Academy and made fast friends with many. She was a fierce friend and made sure they were protected. She contemplated operations but choose engineering after taking a class that went into great detail. She added on the minor of combat engineering as well. In part to keep her fit, but also in part to help her train to defend herself and those around her. Her grades and evaluations were constantly above average and she graduated in the top ten of her class. She was assigned as Chief Engineer/Combat Engineer to the Zebulon Pike.
Zebulon Pike (2400-2400)
Assigned as Chief Engineer/Combat Engineer. In a mission to assist in bringing the USS Heracles back across a rift in reality, The Zebulon Pike is destroyed. Her crew survives and returns to their own reality.
USS Mercy (8.2400-11.1.2400)
She is assigned to the USS Mercy as an engineering officer from August 2400 to November 2400. She returns to Starbase Bravo to work as an engineering officer until 4.14.2401 when she’s assigned to the USS Mackenzie as Assistant Chief Engineering Officer.
USS Mackenzie (4.14.2401- Present)
Assigned as Assistant Chief Engineer.
