Part 4: Ashes of the Empire

The Healdsburg, battered but defiant, embarks on a high-risk infiltration of Romulan space. Utilizing advanced stealth systems and the help of an unexpected ally—a faction of Romulan dissidents loyal to the old Praetor—the crew stages a two-pronged operation: rescue the hostages, and capture or eliminate Snow to prevent him from destabilizing the entire quadrant. But Snow has one final card to play: she has brokered an alliance between the renegade Romulan faction and remnants of the Tal Shiar. Worse, he reveals his true motivation—not just defection, but the destruction of both the Romulan Star Empire and the Federation, believing only total collapse can rebuild a new, united galactic order. As Romulan warbirds descend on the Healdsburg’s position, the crew must make their ultimate choice: Sacrifice themselves to stop Snow’s fleet from igniting a galactic war. Or activate a desperate contingency plan that risks unleashing dangerous secrets of Section 31 to end the conflict. Whatever path they take, the fate of the quadrant—and the legacy of the Healdsburg—will never be the same.
