Location: USS Paso Robles, CO Quarters

Candelaria and Ariana just completed school, and they already rushed back home. They’re waiting for the arrival of their father. He would typically come down and check on them right after school mom was usually preparing for the dinner rush by this time so she couldn’t get away.

Renato didn’t mind he made it part of his daily tour just to come over there and say hi and check on the girls real quick he didn’t spend a lot of time with them during this time. And now they’re getting old enough he honestly didn’t need to do this anymore. They were capable of taking care of themselves but he’s still enjoyed coming home to greet them everyday. It was just something he grew up accustomed to.

“That holographic teacher is nuts.” Candelaria said if she looked over to Arianna, she did not really like the teacher. Even though she was giving an interesting way of teaching Starfleet history, to her the topic matter which is boring.

“She did not seem that bad to me, just wish she had a better way to present the information. It’s a holographic program so why can’t we just learn about it in a holodeck and actually be part of whatever the story is. To me as soon as I could be a better use of our time.” Ariana suggested, realizing that maybe she like the holodeck a little too much.

“Maybe we can just reprogram her?” Candelaria said in a teasing manner, as they heard the door switch open. She had a feeling it was her father, cuz he’s the only one that should be coming around during this time.

Renato walked into the room, he could tell the both girls were sitting on the sofa talking. “Don’t forget to do your homework, I’ll be home in a couple hours. You girls situated?” He asked if he waited for a response.

“We’re good dad, have fun with your tour.” Ariana suggested, knowing that her father had to continue doing his rounds. She liked her dad coming by to say hi everyday.

Location: USS Paso Robles, Counseling Office

*I thought the first officer told you take it easy.” Renato said in a Stern tone too Zara. Of course he was playing around but he needed to make a point of saying it to her.

“I am captain, I’m just here to check my messages I’m not actually doing any work.” Zara pointed out to him.

“Well I’m happy to hear that because you’ve been through an ordeal, and you need to give yourself time to adjust to it. I know it might seem unfair but we have these rules for a reason.” Renato explained to her.

“I understand that sir, but how are you doing?” Zara asked if she decided to flip the script a little bit.

“You’re not supposed to be working.” Renato kindly reminded her.

“I’m not working, I’m just asking simple question how are you doing. I guess I’ll go first I’m doing pretty well, I’m a little anxious and tired of being cooped up but I’m doing pretty good.” Zara pointed out to him.

“Generally speaking I’m doing pretty good, I’m glad to hear that you are too. You know if you want to have a conversation just asking about generalize questions we could go to somewhere else intimidating. I’ve always preferred the mess hall.”

“Getting something to eat does sound nice.” Is there a pointed out to him, she was kind of hungry.

“All right I want you to have dinner with me and my family tonight in the captain’s mess. I hope you don’t mind but the girls are excited to meet you, well actually they’re excited to meet most of the crew but they heard about your symbiote so they might ask questions I’m not sure yet what they’re going to ask or if they will ask but I know they’re excited to meet you.” Renato explained to her.

“I’m looking forward to it captain.” Zara said with a big grin on her face, she was curious to meet the captain’s family. Well she had met his wife, now she would have an official reason to meet the kids.

Location: USS Paso Robles, COB Office

Renato walk into the chief of the boat’s office, he had requested permission first obviously to enter the room. But as soon as he did he noticed that the chico is about immediately snapped to the position of attention even from behind his desk. “Captain gutierrez, I wasn’t expecting you sir what do I owe the pleasure of your visit?” Malek asked a little surprised that the captain was there in his office. He had a feeling it was informal because the factory his office and not the captain’s office.

“Just making my rounds, chief. Anything to report with the crew?” Run out the last trying to get the formalities out of the way.

“Not really sir, everybody’s performing at peak efficiency, everybody’s doing pretty well and we have no disciplinary.l actions to resolve. I’m hoping it stays that way.” Malek sent to the captain, hoping that it truly did.

“Well I’m happy to hear that, I think after this mission we should plan a crew party what do you think of that idea Chief?” Renato asked looking for his chief of the boats of personal opinion.

“That’d be a great idea sir I know that they would really appreciate that. Maybe we can crack open one of those bottles that you’re previously gifted?” Malek loghlt asked, hoping that the captain would be favorable that idea.

“After this mission go ahead, I have a feeling of beginning a few more bottles anyways it seems to be the going currency between captains.” Renato teases with the big grin on his face.

Location: USS Paso Robles, Cargo Bay 1

Renato then walked into the cargo bay, he could see that Lira was at her desk, in the makeshift office that they had built for her. Since the main focus of the Paso Robles was logistical support he had ordered an office to be made for Ensign Lira Chameer.

Has he started to walk into the bay, Lira had noticed him and she walked out of the office to meet him. “Captain what are the pleasure of this visit?” She asked if she waited for the captain to respond.

“I’m just making my rounds, anything to report in here?” Renato asses he looked around noticing how everything is neat and tidy.

“No captain, everything is accounted for just doing a little down time before we reach our destination. It’s giving me a chance to catch up on some of my reports.” Lira suggested to him with a big grin on her face.

“We’re still a couple oh days out, we’ll get through this together. In the meantime though if you’re looking for extra things to do just let me know.” Renato said that he got ready to leave the room.

“I’ll definitely keep that in mind sir, thank you for stopping by.” Lira said a little passive aggressively, currently letting him know that he needed to move on. He got to hit and definitely grinned. He thought to himself nicely played.

“Not a problem see you at the next staff meeting.” Renato asked as he walked out of the cargo bay room.

Location: USS Paso Robles, Bridge

Renato walk back onto the bridge, he walked over to the Helmsman station first as he made eye contact with her. “Ensign T’Shan are we still in the same heading, and still rendezvous at the same time in the Talvath System?” Renato asked as he looked over to his Helmsman.

“Yes we are captain, are you wanting to adjust our course?” T’Shan, asked if she wonders if he’s going to make a course correction.

“Our current heading is fine I’m just trying to play catch up. I guess I could have asked number one but sometimes I just like asking things myself.”

“Trying to take my job captain?” Mira said with the teasing grin on her face that she got up out of the command chair.

“Gladly, Heck if you want the captaincy I can give it to you.” Renato then count your teased her back with a big grin on his face as well.

“Don’t tease me like that, Captain.” Mira said with a big playful smile on her face. “We’re still on Coors captain no new contacts and no new messages from Starfleet. How was your walk captain. I assume everything went good on your tour?”

“It was nice, I got to meet all the department heads, I believe it’s your turn to be relieved for duty rotation?” right now to suggested to her.

“It is Captain.” Mira simply said not trying to provoke anything, she wasn’t going to mention it. But it was that time of day.

“Well number one I relieve you, I’ll see you back tomorrow morning?” Renato asked, as he looked over to Mira with the more serious look on his face but still had a slight smile.

“Yes captain, I’ll see you tomorrow.” Mira said if she started to head towards the turbo lift doors.

Renato then looked over to T’Shan. “That means you too helmsman.” Renato pointed out here, his schedule is slightly different normally he would take the morning shift as Captain but because of fact the teenage girls he wanted to be home when they got home and Mira had adjusted their schedules so he could accommodate for his teenagers. So he took the mid shift a little bit into beta and she took gamma going into day shift.

T’Shan however with a day shift personnel and it was the end of the day shift roster. “Yes Captain I’m on my way, I’ll see you tomorrow sir?” She asked if she got ready to leave the bridge.

Typically Renato work 0600 hours to 1800 hours every day. He did this because he wanted to be home for the girls and that allowed him and his wife to spend time because by 1800 her dinner rush was over and she could spend time with the family at 1800 hours and have dinner.

Right now they are beyond 16:00 so to Sean was very to leave for the day. He just simply smi

led and nodded as he said, “I’ll be here at 08:00 hours.” He said at the scene starts to fade away.
