She came into her office just to see boxes everywhere. Her coffee in her hand and she looked around. “Freddie! What are you doing?” she yelled to the assistant.

“I thought you knew! Congrats! You’ve been promoted!” Freddie jumped up and down.

“I’ve been here not even a fortnight.” Minh protested.

“Here it’s on Psych-You-Up – the weekly write up. I am sure you have something personal from the Director!”

“Mumble mumble, excellent service, mumble mumble initial paperwork mistake… mumble mumble new office, mumble mumble well deserved…” Minh’s eyes rolled into her head, any harder and they would be heard through out the station. “Can I use your console for a few in privacy?” she smiled.

“Of course Doctor.” Freddie backed away.

Minh, a person on a mission, pushed her padd and coffee aside into Freddie and charged into the room where it could be heard her requesting Director Faren.

15 Minutes Later

“Thank you Freddie.” Minh smiled.

“What happened?” Freddie asked.

“I may have given Director Faren a choice few words of my mind about the mistracked paperwork. On how this was supposed to be my original position and should be reflected as such.” Minh said picking up a box, “Where am I going?”

“Up two floors, beside the Deputy Director.” Freddie said.

“We have a Deputy Director?” Minh asked.

“No not yet.” Freddie replied.

“Very well, I want to keep a patient room down here, I will be offloading some patients, but only keeping a couple. That was apart of the negotiation. I will send you a list afterwards.” Minh said.

Taking the stairs to get her steps in for the day, she looked forward to the new adventure. The water feature really did calm her down quite a bit. She arrived to boxes on the floor with her files, and personal affects. “Let’s do this.”
