“Talat!” Idris screamed walking into Cargo bay 1.
Talat taken aback looked around and saw Idris. “Idris! Brother in arms!”
The two haven’t seen each other in a year or so, since the USS Healdsburg where they both served. “What are you doing in Cargo Bay 1? It is my job to oversee the Cargo Transfer.” Idris inquired.
“I am looking for something.” Talat said in a Klingon hiss.
“Oh? How can I help?” a quartermaster asked peeking their head out from behind the Cargo Containers.
“I am looking for my Dino Nuggets.” Talat said.
“Dino Nuggets?” Idris and the Quartermaster asked in unison.
“Yes.” Talat said sternly.
“What are Dino Nuggets?” Idris asked.
“Wait… you are Customer T-1002849 from the Ferengi Consortium… yes it appears there is a back order from the source. Where did I see the padd of information…”
“Huh?” Idris was confused.
“That is unnacceptable.” Talat grew agitated.
“I am sorry Lieutenant but unless if you get a chicken and kill it, it ain’t happening.” the Quartermaster said.
“This is unacceptable.” Talat repeated and started to open the food canisters.
“Lieutenant…. Stand down.” Idris Commanded.
“This is a must.” Talat grew more and more agitated.
Idris didn’t understand her fixation on Dino-Nuggies, but he had to disarm the situation. While most of the food on the ship was fresh, they did have replicators in the captain’s and xo’s mess. “Talat, let me see what I can do. In the mean time please contain yourself.”
Talat punched the wall and walked out.
Idris looked at the Quartermaster, “Don’t piss off your boss, and find me a better source of Dino-Nuggies.”
