The streets were filled with excited visitors and stands that fill the streets with meat that was made on fires. At the Talvereth’s upper gate road, that overlooking the Harbor Serpent and the Caldera rim, stood the Klingon representatives of house Qabhi. The decent of the Krellek’s shuttle was notable by its sheer noise it was making.

“They are making a loud entrance, their arrival is in 30 seconds HoD” Baro growls looking at her device that tracked the movement of the incoming shuttle.

Crossing his arms seeing the shuttle of Krellek approaching the Harbor Serpent “Their aggressive approach is making a statement that they have arrived and here to show their strength in name of their house and Toral”  J’esord eyes focusses on the descent.

It was only moments later after the landing of the shuttle that a loud warband approach the gates. Loud armor, unfurled banners that are held up high and their armor covered in broken bones, skulls attached to their helmet of prey they hunted. Basic trophies of their deeds and hunts in other worlds. Lursaen smirks “Behold the fighters of the Klingon Empire, Krellek fights for true victory” He whips the crowd in a direction trying to imply that Qabhi’s softness doesn’t belong among their people.

Leaning against the wall with his arms crossed, and facial expression simply not impressed with this display. Vor’aq looks at the incoming warband and gives a brief and respectable nod. His weapons in a peace-bound posture, not trying to create a scene.

Accord Square

The warbands were facing each other from respective terraces as their banner and colors reflect their house. A Krellek warrior steps forward, looking around as if he was hunting for its next prey.  He ignored Qabhi present totally, “We hunger for challenges, we hunger for killing. Gives us a true challenge! We shall abide your rules to start softly…. yield-only terms as it is merely a training drill for us”  His provocation and mockery was aimed at Qabhi.

“Blood for truth!” The gathering Lursaen fans chants with their fist up high, “Let steel decide!” They continued until the hard banging sound of metal on metal was heard.

Focusing back on the Warlord Talan that stood there up at his terraces with the creed, their tablets visible behind the Warlord. Varrek dark voice was heard throughout the crowd, “We follow the Accord lines, that has made our people a unity for decades. Conflict is our crucible. We dos o by proving the steel of our warriors and world alike.”

Taking a deep breath as he scans his people and both invited guest as Varrek reach out his hand to the rings below, “So follow the accord. No blades are due without law. No strikes are done without witness. Without these fundamental rules, these rings we build are a waste, we do not waste our time and efforts.” It was a soft reminder to everyone that this festival was not a sport, it was a way to prevent wasteful killing.

Vor’aq remains quiet until the Warlord lowers his hand as he looked at everyone, “Thus House Qabhi will fight, but only by the rules within the terms of Accord. No senseless brawls without meaning” He looks at the Krellek warrior who snarks at the sneer. But receives an approval nod from Varrek.

“So words are spoken, deeds are shown, action is required” Varrek announces “Kareth and Varrin demands it” Referring to the platforms that are used in these matches.

Taking the opportunity, J’esord steps forward “My lord, why not stakes better and worthy for both parties” He sees Varrek looking at him “Let’s give these warriors and people what they want. But in the order of the Accord timeline and locations. Under the stated rules that they wish to see…yield it was it?” J’esord looked at the Krellek warriors for a brief second then back “But under Vraxiri official judging, so no foul play is done that would damage the respective Accords”.

A moment of silence as Varrek considers it “So be it, tonight we feast our eyes on these battles”

The respective champions collect at the platform, for Krellek’s champion Maq’rod roars as he enters the ring with hammering with both fist onto his armor. While Qabhi champion would be W’ekras showing pride and honor by calmness and focus as she enters the ring.

Orun Tai, the ring judge walks on and looked at both of them “Terms are standing. Accord will hold. So begin”.

Moving first was Maq’rod and pushes hard on W’ekras who avoids being grappled by him. Directing her to the edge of brutality with near-head strikes that pulled late or just throws for show. The crowd were loving the danger that was shown by House Krellek.

Yet W’ekras was more drilled in visible control. Her attacks were measured as she made a precise strike and disarms Maq’rod weapon making him yield and respectively stepped back per the set rules.

The House of Krellek was not having it, but put back in their place as Omik placed a stun-field in place around the ring. Omik, serves the away team as its security and was there to make sure no accidental escalations would happen from Krellek side.

Looking at both parties, Orun stepped forward and nods as his wooden staff raises in favor of Qabhi “Future off-world bouts will be followed by the strict terms that are made here right now. This sample match pleases the accord and the Warlords. So the terms will be listed in the Accords”.

After the match the two parties, off-worlders stood at the table of Warlord Varrek. Taking a deep breath, “We are pleased of what was shown, spirit, honor, and bravery that reflects our Accord. You, off-worlder, are bound from now on to fight in this and future festivals by sanctioned slots and enforcer by the Accord terms.”

J’esord smiles grabbing the terms and reads it out loud to those present “We, off-worlders, bound by these terms as equals, escalating duels that are due to be decided on Composite Trials in accordance to the Accord”  He puts it down.

Placing his signature as Vor’aq smiles at Krellek’s representatives, “Now we shall see who is the better hunter within these walls”

The Krellek warriors shows their dislike to their new limits, but shrugs to sign the paper as if they refuse it would show their cowardly behavior towards the Vraxiri people. “Do not worry Qabhi…we still got the most cheers during that practice round” With that they left the Warlord table.

Vor’aq was not responding to this poor attempt of provocation and gives a respective nod to the Warlord before leaving with his team.
