The Jast symbiont, then 186 years old, carried the memories of six prior hosts, each with distinct expertise:

• Sylara Jast (2325–2355): A cultural anthropologist who mediated first-contact scenarios, known for empathy and adaptability.
• Dren Jast (2355–2375): A Starfleet tactical officer who served during early Cardassian conflicts, noted for strategic brilliance.
