USS Britannia

Sovereign-class • NCC-81544 • Britannia Wayfinding Division • Task Force 47 • Managed by CAPT Varen Wyll

“Dare to be honest and fear no labor.” – Robert Burns

The space beyond the Federation is filled with the unknown, and before the best and brightest of Starfleet can head out, the path must be made safe.
Britannia rides the crest of the wave at the frontier, securing the path to these new horizons.

One of the more recent Sovereign-class ships to set forth from Antares Fleet Yards following its relocation from Utopia Planitia in 2385, Britannia has seen over a decade and a half of service in Starfleet. Featuring several upgrades to its sensor packages, auxiliary services and intelligence-gathering facilities, Britannia currently serves as Task Force 47’s advance vanguard. Intended to operate in the distant unaligned regions beyond the Federation border for extended periods without support, the ship and crew proudly hold the torch of the Federation high, as they ride the waves into the fresh new horizon.

“Benson. Triangulate fire with the Britannia’s tactical officer. We can at least give them some dorsal end coverage.” Mayvilis held on as the ship rocked some from the turbulence of the Britannia as it absorbed some enemy fire. They were headed straight on for the large enemy carrier vessel. [...]

They left me, pressed a device to my neck and gave me a pained look. There had been a shout of unintelligible words, and they had rushed out of sight. They left me. Alone and bloodied.  With rehearsed excellence that would make a prima ballerina jealous, the medical team’s feet mindlessly [...]

Ashes and Blood

USS Aldrin, USS Britannia, USS Io and USS Sirona

Persephone Post tugged again at the collar of her uniform as the unabating heat rolled like a waterfall from the large, thrumming shield generator set into the bulkhead beyond the control room. She had already cast off her mustard overshirt, but the atmosphere was swiftly becoming unbearable as the [...]

Ashes and Blood

USS Aldrin, USS Britannia, USS Io and USS Sirona

“Captain.. Are you sure about this?” Lieutenant Commander Benson asked, his voice seeming more shaky than normal, it also lacked its usual deep and melodic vibrato. A telling sign that he was legitimately concerned.  “About flying Aldrin right between the nacelles of Britannia?” Commander [...]
