The USS Typhoon (NCC-90000) is a Typhoon-class exploratory cruiser assigned to the Fourth Fleet’s Task Force 93. A symbol of Starfleet’s enduring pursuit of knowledge and discovery. She is under the command of Captain Giovanni D’Antonio. The Typhoon is the first ship of her class; as such, she represents the next generation of Starfleet vessels. Assigned primarily to scientific and humanitarian duties on the frontier. It operates along the Federation’s frontier, bridging the gap between exploration, diplomacy, and defense.
Commissioned in mid-2401, she is designed to thrive in deep-space operations while maintaining the versatility required for modern galactic challenges. Embodying the spirit of exploration and compassion, balancing the duties of scientific discovery with humanitarian outreach. When not operating on the frontier, the Typhoon serves as a symbol of Federation presence and resolve. Her duties can extend to patrol operations, diplomatic support, and search-and-rescue missions in some of the most volatile regions of known space. Every time the warp engines light up, the limits of her crew’s courage, intellect, and dedication to one Starfleet’s core beliefs that even in the darkest reaches, there is always light to be found amongst the stars.
