USS Galileo

Steamrunner-class • NCC-52001 • Deep Space 12 • Task Force 93 • Managed by FCAPT Elena Mitchell

“Intelligence is the ability to adapt to change.”
~Stephen Hawking

While not the fasting or most armed, the USS Galileo makes up for it by being a jack-of-all-trades. The squadron’s generalist, the Galileo, is tasked with everything from escort missions to emergency response. She is the go-to ship for the squadron’s problems.

In a region of space defined by chaos, the Galileo proves that adaptability isn’t an advantage,  it’s the key.

Deep Space 12

“Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere.”
~ Martin Luther King Jr.

Operating at the intersection of Federation space and the unpredictable Algox Sector, the Deep Space 12 Division serves as the Fourth Fleet’s rapid-response and border-enforcement command. Balancing law enforcement, rescue operations, and frontier diplomacy, the division oversees a volatile region of commerce and corruption.

The Algox Sector, is a place were smugglers, pirates and Romulan elements exploit the gaps between law and order. From it’s hub on Deep Space 12 the division provides constant patrols, humanitarian assistance, and a stable presence in an area of space where the rules are often written by the highest bidder.

The USS Galileo drifted through the Shackleton Expanse, sensors looking over pockets of empty space. Mapping gravitational eddies, logging odd readings, that was the job. Quiet work, the kind Starfleet crews secretly looked forward to after months of chaos. Commander Delar hunched over the science [...]

AJ entered the observation lounge and took a deep breath. He wasn’t sure what Elena wanted back when she called, you didn’t leave her waiting. “AJ.” Elena sat in a chair, one leg over the side. She raised the glass in her hand as she pointed to an empty chair. She always had that way of [...]

Eos Station (Archive), USS Galileo and USS Yeager (Archive)

3 Days After Zero Hour Eos looked like a wounded animal. Her outer hull was blackened by the scars of energy fire and impact trauma. Deck plating sheared off in sections, replaced by temporary force fields. Entire sections remained sealed under vacuum protocols, but the station was still [...]
