Part of Bravo Fleet: Nightfall

USS Oakland

History Never Forgets

A Klingon colony is in distress, and the only ship that can respond in time is Oakland...

Mission Description

Until now, USS Oakland has been a lucky little ship where the Blackout is concerned. But that all is bound to change once a distress signal is picked up… from the other side of the Klingon border. Narendra III, a name already steeped in history, is under attack- and KDF forces are struggling with the Blackout and unable to respond in time. It’s down to Oakland, a noncombat ship in almost any other scenario, to impede the Vaadwaur assault… or die trying.

The Price We Pay

USS Oakland: History Never Forgets

False hope is deadlier than no hope. False hope makes you hasty, eager to jump onto a bandwagon that doesn’t exist. False hope says it gives you a platform to stand on, only to rip it out from under your feet and leave you free-falling. That being said… that escort breaking up felt so [...]

In the Spirit of David Glasgow Farragut

USS Oakland: History Never Forgets

Even the Vaadwaur can fatigue. Even this foe is mortal. Charlotte MacColgan came to this conclusion after no less than four quantum torpedoes- warheads that absolutely would’ve disintegrated Oakland on the spot if they’d hit- flashed past the smoking utility cruiser and vanished into [...]
