The Echelon, along with Tokyo and Decker are out on a search for the Sovereign. While other vessels from First and Second Fleet conduct their survey and research, Acting Squadron Commander, Commander Ford wanted to put the squad to work and see if they could find their own clues. During the search, the Echelon‘s sensors picked up a derelict, an Excelsior-class vessel that was part of the Cardassian-Federation War back in the 2340’s and 50’s, and had been declared lost since. Unfortunately, the name and registry anywhere on the ship had been stricken, whether by weapons fire or by a strange dark mass.

With the other ships still conducting their search for the Sovereign, Ford decided a little investigation of this ship was needed. He wanted to see if they could find the ship’s plaque, or access the main computer and get some answers. Unfortunately for the away teams that are sent over, an unforeseen horror is about to be awakened and their very core is about to be shaken. The members of these away teams may never be able to sleep normally ever again, if they make it out alive!
